Our mission at the Tribal Detox Advanced Kambo Practitioner Training
At Tribal Detox Advanced Kambo Practitioner Training, we believe in utilizing what we know about the human body and what we know at this point about the Kambo peptides and the Kambo experience to best guide practitioners to keep their clients safe. Although the research on Kambo is limited, we can cautiously and with a keen eye on safety, guide trained Kambo Practitioners to critically navigate modern diseases and medicines that our brothers and sisters in the Amazon Basin did not have to consider.
In the age of modern disease, we must find our allies among the rest of our client's care team and encourage open conversation so our client feels supported as they make decisions in their journey to health. In this course we arm you with a better understanding of the human body so you are better prepared to have those conversations.
Kambo Peptides
We do an in depth analysis of what a peptide is, what we know about each peptide at this point as well as some discussion on possible links to benefits or side effects. We also dive into questions around scope of practice and ways to better protect yourself in your client conversations.
Autoimmunity and Chronic Infection
How does autoimmunity develop? Why are some of us more susceptible to chronic infections like Lyme and EB? What does the body need to support a Herxheimer reaction? We cover all of this and much more.
Strategies for Working with Ill Clients
Expanding on the intake process can be crucial to protecting yourself and your clients. We review additional questions you may want to ask as well as strategies for serving clients with various health conditions.
Course Instructor:
Sara T. Price BSN, RN, BC-NC
After 15 years as a Neonatal ICU Nurse, I found myself exhausted by not only the direction of our healthcare system but also my own health challenges. After shifting to sales I began working for a nutri-technology company and really see how the body has the ability to heal itself. This new world introduced me to the fascinating world of functional medicine and I began my personal healing journey. I became a sponge and wanted learn everything I could about this new way of viewing the body and healing. I was also exposed to eastern medicine, energy medicine, and the importance of purpose and soul work.
This journey brought me to plant medicine and eventually lead me to Kambo and the world of amphibian peptides. I chose the Tribal Detox program out of my immense respect for the work Jason Fellows was doing to better understand Kambo and how to keep clients safe. In my own engagement with the TD community, I saw the need for additional support and realized all that I learned in my own journey and in my private practice was quite applicable!
This course is the culmination of many many hours of course work in functional nutrition, functional medicine with the Institute of Functional Medicine, and holistic nurse coaching. It is my hope that you feel better prepared to work with ill clients, to make informed decisions to protect yourself and your clients, and be able to help clients and the public understand Kambo's role in a healing journey.
